A #Short Stories for children about talking animals.
Whenever we can, my hubby and I would go for walks in our neighbourhood park in Bukit Panjang. Nature soothes the soul. It's a bonus when we can walk alongside a baby squirrel or watch chicken families go about their daily lives. One evening, while I was trying to photograph a young rooster, a wild piglet photo bombed. The rooster did a double take. I made myself scarce just in case protective papa or mama wild boar's around.
The wildlife in Bukit Panjang inspired my current series - Short Stories from Long Hill. I have an overarching story planned and will publish each short story within the saga as I complete it. My friend, Pamela Yap, has been kind enough to proof edit some of these stories. I'm thinking of compiling multiple short stories into volumes and illustrate them for print books at a later date. For now, only Amazon would carry the print books as they are too short for D2D Print.
